Public Health: Opioid Settlement Funding Available

Bemidji, MN – The Beltrami County Opioid Steering Committee and the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners invites community partners to submit a request for funding through the opioid settlement. The second-round competitive grant has an estimated $70,000 available. Approved uses of the remediation funds include treating opioid use disorders, preventing misuse of opioids, support those in treatment and recovery and other opioid related harm reduction activity.

The Request For Proposals (RFP) and application are available on the Beltrami County website. Applications are due February 28, 2025 at 12:00PM noon. There is an opportunity for applicants to learn more about the application and committee priorities being held virtually on Monday, February 3 at 3:00PM.
