ATVs/OHM/ORV USE: No ATV, OHM, or ORV use is allowed within the campground boundaries per rule 5.1 of the Developed County Parks and Recreation Area Ordinance 47.
CAMPING: First come, first serve equestrian camping only. A minimum of one horse per campsite is required. Camping is limited to a total period of 16 days and to one camping group of eight or less people.
COOKING WASTE: Liquid waste from cooking or washing may be disposed of on the ground at least 150 feet from any water supply in a manner that does not pollute a water supply or constitute a public health/safety issue.
EXPLOSIVES: Firecrackers/fireworks are prohibited.
FIREARMS: Possession of all firearms and weapons is prohibited in high-use recreation areas except for persons with a permit to carry a handgun or concealed weapon.
FIRES: Any open fire must be in a fireplace, grill, or other suitable container. Camp stoves or charcoal burners may be used provided they do not create a hazard to the area or to others. No fire may be left unattended.
FIREWOOD: Only dead and downed wood may be used to build fires. Ash firewood is not permitted. All firewood brought in from outside Beltrami County must be burned or taken with you when you leave, do not leave wood for the next visitor. GARBAGE: Carry-in and carry-out all garbage. Waste disposal in vault toilets or fire rings is prohibited. Do not burn garbage.
GENERAL CONDUCT: Engaging in disorderly conduct, fighting, using offensive or obscene language, or making noise to arouse alarm or resentment of others by any means is prohibited.
HORSES: Horses may not be tied to trees or placed in temporary enclosures where damage to trees could occur. A manure pit is provided and must be utilized.
PETS: Pets are allowed when attended and effectively restrained by leash (no longer than six feet). Pets are prohibited from buildings. Owners must properly clean up after their pets.
PORTABLE CORRALS: Corrals may be set up if they do not exclude others from using the area and comply with conditions posted on site. Please place corrals under the existing tie lines.
SEWAGE WASTE: Sewage waste from a camping trailer must be emptied at a suitable facility. Grant Creek Horse Camp does not have any waste disposal system.
