Public Works Department - Solid Waste Division
Bemidji Transfer Station
April - November
Construction Notice
The Bemidji Transfer Station will be undergoing important site improvements and remodeling from April through November 2025. During this period, we will make every effort to remain fully operational. However, customers may occasionally experience longer-than-normal wait times or temporary closures of the main drive-through lanes.
To minimize disruption, the After-Hours Lane will remain open during any temporary closures. Please note that special waste disposal will NOT be available during those times.
If you would prefer to avoid potential delays or disruptions, you may want to consider using a commercial hauler (Waste Management, Jon’s Refuse, or the City of Bemidji) for curbside pickup services.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary upgrades. Updates and notifications will be shared through ongoing Press Release announcements on the website homepage.
Thank you for your continued patience and support.
